First two seasons are still hilarious, season 3 and the movie mostly sucked. Even the first two can be hit or miss with their jokes but it's one of those shows that doesn't give a shit about any kind of integrity so if a joke doesn't work they just move onto the next.

I honestly liked their takedown of South Park. It's like the only show that called out the show and its fans for the annoying pseudointellectual fag shit. For some reason nobody else has ever done this. It's like everyone else either thinks South Park is God's gift to mankind, or hates it but only for surface level crap ("it's too edge and violent herr derr")

It aged like vinegar. But like the really good shit. Like the kinda shit that a random person would think is spoiled wine but to those with a specific palette and taste it's exactly what you are looking for especially in a time where nothing tastes quite the same now.

I'd say the only bad part about how it aged was the reality shows it made fun of aren't as relevant.
The cast in season were at their funniest when they didn't simply play a stereotype but a reality TV show stereotype

Partially because the creator had a conspiracy theory that Trey Parker personally got them cancelled. Cree Summer clarified it's because the network itself couldn't stand the laziness of the creators and the way they missed deadlines

Yes. Better than just about all its contemporaries. It didnt last anywhere near as long but in the end Drawn Together got the last laugh.

I respect the anons who like Clara but Toot and Foxxy both put up a alot of competition. Those two blow Clara out of the water by a country mile.

Potentially the most underrated girl of the show. I can stomach Hero's usual stupidity but the way he handled UFG incenses me at just the thought.

I think most people could understand the references and the humor, even if they weren't alive or were too young to remember the early 00s. Captain Hero might come off as more funny now that there's been so many "What if Superman was a piece of shit" subversive superhero stories.

For as much as I like the show, part of me wants to see a spiritual successor to Drawn Together that actually plays the premise straight with accurate parodies of each archetype.

Seasons 1 and 2 were absolute peak, and dare I say, much better than classic era South Park. I'd say it's on par with the likes of Family Guy, American Dad, Futurama, Robot Chicken, Aqua Teen and other adult animated sitcoms that aired around the same time. Season 3 and its movie were not as good and you could see writers are burntout and have overstayed their welcome with just shock value, though I do have to give props for ending the show by tackling South Park, its fans and its creators in their the movie. It's clear that they had good ideas for season 3 and their movie, but the creators and writers were creatively burntout and they just want the show to just end

S1 and S2, yes.
S3 has its moments but there is too much tryhard edginess.
The movie is a solid B. Not as bad as everyone says but still has room for improvement.

I miss this type of humor to where the only thing remotely close, and by remotely close I mean the absolute bare minimum that would be considered shit back in the day, is Shane Gillis.

Pretty sure they've since explained that they were extremely tired of getting dicked around and having their plots and ideas constantly shot down by the higher-ups, which was the inspiration for the Jew Producer character who literally showed up in the cartoon to ruin the fun and make the characters suffer.
