This is such a kino design

It is, but the original is still better. This one doesn't really give off a vibe of a creepy device made by aliens. The design in Omniverse is the only one I don't like

I like the fact that Ben always defaults to the big tough guy (Four Arms, Humungosaur) as his go to alien. It really drives home that, while he can be smart and strategic, he's a dumbass teen/kid at heart.

Technically, it seems to be him complaining more about his fingers, then he talks about the time out function by slamming, so it's actually that the watch selection might be a mouse on the very sensitive setting for Ben's fat fingers. Still Ben's fault considering he's just as abrupt with the sliding selection or too rushed to properly check. Pic related has him want XLR8 and complain about Rath, but the dial shows he stopped at Rath, so it's canon he messes it up.

Fun Fact: writers said the original omnitrix's interface package was made by Albedo, so the UAF holograms are probably his idea and Azmuth likely put the sliding wheel just to get rid of his imprint after the whole copy omnitrix/ultimatrix fiascos.

Doesn't that thing give him access to "master control"? As far as I can remember that gives you total access to the watch's capabilities, including but not limited to, thought to transformation. Meaning the other just has to touch the watch or just think about when alien he wants to be and it just does it.

nah the green recolor is cool but this looks too similar to a regular human watch which takes away the appeal, even with the lore reason of "oh the Omnitrix intentionally changed its appearance to look less conspicuous"
I prefer the Ultimatrix over this because it keeps the green color but looks like an alien device once more

How does this OV Omnitrix work? Like if Ben wants to switch aliens in the OG or AF, he can. But here if he selects one using the wheel, the face plate opens up to reveal the dial and then he's basically forced to push it down. Have we seen the dial come up and Ben still able to reselect a different alien?

I think there’s an instance where he goes to select an alien but it was a false alarm and he didn’t have to and the dial just pops back down. So I think the OV Omnitrix is linked to Ben’s brain and he has limited mental control over the basic functions

Also I don’t think we’ve seen Ben re select an alien only because those models of Omnitrix used the dial as the way to select the alien so he could always just re twist it if he wanted another alien

I think both have their advantages. Four Arms and Humungosaur are both heavy hitters but and latter is more for bigger threats but can’t be used in smaller environments

Four Arms though has a little more versatility cause of the extra arms and him being able to fit in more compact places you can’t fit in as Humungosaur
