I always find it funny all the movie grifter channels try to push an agenda that Disney U.S. Agent/Walker shouldnt be presented as a bad guy when his entire gimmick is he means well but he goes way to overboard when he deals with people where he basically beats them to death and lets not even mention his poor mental state

If MCU Walker was played straight and taken directly from his usual characterization from the comics, he'd be a lot less palatable and would be a lot harder to justify his behavior, because he was a brusque asshole right from the get-go and just liked stepping on everybody's toes even if wasn't technically a bad guy.

Its the gimmick the last clean War America fought was WW2. After Korea it entered the American World Police idea of entering wars for questionable reasons, and either fighting in stalemates or various other political bullshit so every Captain America after is meant to be what a soldier went through during those wars.

On a slightly related note, how come all the marketing for Thunderbolts completely refrained from calling US Agent by his actual superhero name? They just kept referring to him as "John Walker" across all the posters and as spots. Is US Agent too generic a name to copyright or something?
