Yet it still happens in the Marvel Comics Universe. I've said this before no way a event like 9/11 could happen in the world of comics where thousands of superheroes exist who'd be able to prevent something like that from happening.

Didn't Kang nuke Washington DC like a few months before this or something? To say nothing of how in 616 outside America entire countries are regularly genocided by evil robots and shit.

Well, didn't the original The Boys comic change 9/11 to being about Brooklyn Bridge being destroyed because of Homelander and the rest of the seven botching trying to stop the terrorist plane attack? It could be an interesting take.

Well if 9/11 didn't happen then the US never invaded Iraq/Iran for Isra-I mean, to "stop terrorism" so everything that spiraled out from that never happened

Post-crisis the closest 9/11 equivalents were Mongul destroying Coast City or Deathstroke destroying Bludhaven.
Neither make any sense for a DC movieverse tragedy.
If they set the Teen Titans in NYC (like they should be) then Trigon's attack on midtown could destroy some major landmarks.
