It always really bothered me that he uses Double Team before Mirror Coat here. It's actively detrimental to raise your evasion if you're going to follow up with a move that depends on getting hit by an attack to reflect it back. The only logical conclusion I've come up with is that after using double team he realizes he'll be hit anyway and mirror coats at the last second.
