Some who actually makes things is willing to cover Discovery's and AT&T's current debt for their stupidity and misadventures to the tune of some $30B+ and can manage to convince whichever 'loyal' tool Pam Bondi has serving in the antitrust division at DOJ that Paramount also owning Warner Brothers studios (or really that Skydance, which now owns Paramount, will also own two more production studios and a bunch more, including some identical cable channels), will be good for consumers, will actually happen.
And keep in mind that some of those consumers are actually big companies, like Apple, Amazon, Disney, Fox and NBC Universal, because they all buy products from the WB TV and movie production studios, and even buy services from them - Apple most recently used Warner Brother's distribution arm, particularly in foreign countries where they have a lot of depth, to help them with the F1 theatrical release, and Amazon has does that - and would continue to do that, because MGM isn't as strong and doesn't have as broad a reach as does WB, except when marketing James Bond (and those were actually distributed in partnership with Sony and many of those people may not want to work with MGM going forward now that it's Bezo's crew).
