To be fair, Helluva is under the Amazon umbrella now. Technically, it's a mainstream production now with an established storyline. Reanimating the pilot with no changes to contradict what we already know would look stupid. Stolas isn't regal nor confident. A pushover until he's forced to the brink. Any mystique he may have had died with the pilot, dare I say with the S1 finale. Now he's a pathetic guy who threw away everything over his homewrecker.
It's truly a shame the show went the way it did. But clearly Viv has a far more unique idea of comedy than the rest of us do. Too bad.
