The goth gf meme is way past it's luster by 7 years, TT Raven is a 22+ year old character media wise. And Toph is a loli. The chances of a child winning a waifu contest will probably wane in time as lolicon art is successful suppressed by art websites, archive site and payment plans. And people who like Toph are probably 26 by now roughly and will be more receptive to modern shows as indie animation with adult age characters flourishes. We see it with how close a second best girl from a modern indie toon written by a trans person made it on a 4chan popularity contest and no one's even mad as cooler heads prevail. Yeah expecting people who have been making OC or campaigning for a specific character to just suddenly channel that into characters they weren't voting for is pretty silly.

I recently got a job, and what I didn't realize before (but I do now), is how much free time I used to have. Even then, I didn't use it wisely. I mostly spent it browsing the Internet, playing videogames, or just watching TV.

Now I feel like I need to use my time in a more productive way, especially because I don't want to fall into the routine of just waking up, showering, changing clothes, and heading to work.

For example, I have hobbies like playing the piano and guitar. But right now my piano is stored away because my house is too small, and I don't have the space to play. My guitar also needs maintenance, and the nearest shop is pretty far away.

I've also wanted to get into drawing for a while, but I don't enjoy drawing on paper. I bought a Wacom tablet (the kind without a screen) to draw on my PC, but it feels awkward, and I never really got used to it. I really want to learn how to draw, but the options I've tried so far haven't been what I expected.

At the moment, I usually spend my free time watching movies and TV shows or playing a few videogames. I just feel like that's not the best way to spend weekends. Friday night comes, I get home, and before I know it, it's already Sunday night. Then I have to get ready for another week of work until Friday comes again, rinse and repeat.

So my question is: how do you make good use of your free time? I'd really like to hear your thoughts on this. Thanks, and take care.

She's the only vidya original character in Marvel Rivals (granted she's from a different game), so she is eligible. I can't say much in the matter, I have never used my time efficiently since I left high school. But... even if it's for a little, go out walking. An hour or a half, doesn't matter where, just walk.

The other option is defining a routinary activity during your week that you absolutely CAN'T miss. Like for me, it's training, I have no reason to force myself to do it, but I mentalize myself to do it no matter what, cause once I don't I lose the flow and start putting it aside.

I don’t really blame the characters. Raven would have been hyped if she has slain Spinel or defeated Frankie the Spinel Slayer(the legitimate outcome), and had Toph gotten her ‘comeback kid’ arc completed in 2023 with no NSA to rig her out people would like that too.
