Honestly surprised to see others had caught some of this show. The channel that had it reran it for about a year or so and eventually went off as I recall, at leats in my area, so my memory was always a strange hazy one. It got me to eventually check out the actual Sherlock Holmes books so I appreciate it for that. Just never saw it talked about or links for it around so I figured it had fallen through the cracks.

Jacob two two
Tales of broca street
There's a cartoon that I don't remember the name but it had a similar art style to ed edd and eddy but was about thriller/horror stories with a comedy tone, i vividly remember in one episode the mc ask what was the guy that discover cow milk doing and a caveman version of him was drinking milk from a cow, i also remember that despite the horrid art style the girl in the group was kinda cute, she was possibly a goth or a punk girl i think, I don't remember anything else about it.

Another cartoon I don't remember the name was a mexican cartoon made by the fucking bimbo bread company (yes the same bread brand from that one guy that commissions characters buying a shit ton of it) that was about some alien kids and one of them was a robot.

I bet these are the most obscure shows itt.

It's baffling how overlooked Zorro's gotten in America. He's been dealt a hand about as bad as The Phantom. Atleast neither of those two have been dealt the same shit luck Tarzan and Dick Tracy have.

Interestingly the slate of Zorro cartoons somehow continues into the modern day. I wonder if they're particularly popular in any specific market. I know there was a CGI one some years back.

Just took about two years before it started hitting Cartoon Network in other countries. Don't really remember much about it anymore.

The phantom series I've been trying to find for years. I'm a LatinAmerican anon, never fully watched it, but saw a promo hundreds of times and I'm positive I was able to catch at least 1 episode... so I don't think it was all just a dream.
I'm sure it aired on "HBO Ole" (How HBO was called in Latinamerica around the 90s and early 2000s) in its elusive kids and/or teen blocks.

Show (or movie) is about a cloak and sword hero, who I'm sure dons a Zorro-like costume for, at least, one episode (which I always saw at the promo). The suit reminded me of the Bruce Campbell's Daring Dragoon from "Jack of All Trades" from my pic related (which I saw later to be exact, so the Daring Dragoon actually made me thought it was a live-action version of my mystery hero).
I particularly remember that the location of the story was a city with many buildings, that he hero jumped around rooftops.

Maybe someone can help me here... animated movie, it was aired on the local TV (which had access to elusive European and Asian animated movies) many times when I was a kid.
I strictly remember the climax and the last scene:
>The climax takes place in an old building (I think an ancient ruin, like the Colosseum, or maybe an old mansion) with evil businessmen trying to torn it down with heavy machinery.
>A big fire starts, and the evil businessmen run away, except for the main one, who is a lanky old man (which my memory remembers as a cross between Claude Frollo and Professor Screweyes) riding an excavator.
>He is surrounded by the fire, but remains inside the vehicle, and the excavator turns (or is seen from the kid protagonists' POV) as a monster that roars and struggles, until it falls down taking the evil businessman in it.
>In the last scene, the kids watch as their allies, a group of magicians (who I remember seeing and thinking they are the Three Wise Men), take off and fly making a glittering dust that fall from the sky that could have been snow.

Yes, this entire thing could have taken place on Christmas, for all I know... but I don't remember it being aired around that season in particular. It might be an European animation, or even a Japanese one, but I honestly don't remember enough details to be sure.

I've rewatched the first couple episodes and the whole premise of it is pretty wild. Everybody is brainwashed to erase all criminal behavior, but some people aren't taking to it. The chick somehow has Sherlock Holmes perfectly preserved in honey and takes it to some guy she saw on the news that claims he can revive people. Then revives him. Then they gotta catch Moriarty, who is breaking the anti-criminal brainwashing. Sherlock Holmes is still an autistic, smug cunt and it's hilarious. The animation is extremely dated, but gives it a good bit of charm.
