Looney Tunes Show and Duck Dodgers are great examples of Looney Tunes as cartoon actors going for parody of well known stuff. Taz-Mania and Sylvester and Tweety Mysteries also fit this premise. The Casablanca short also fits.

You're really overthinking it. The song is one big reference to the gophers overly nice and cordial behavior. Most of the songs were actually about the personalities of the characters. Cock of the walk, the chicken hawk song, blow my stack, Lola's Christmas song, all pertaining to the personality of the characters. The show wasn't literally trying to educate children in a PBS kids kinda way on how to act nice. Finally, if you weren't aware, the music was included at all in season one because of the musical background of the original shorts, hence the "tune" in looney tunes in the first place
