Last week I stole money from my dying grandma (like 2 months left to live) to buy a life size pomni plushie and lots of weed. She planned to leave me jack shit compared to my sister, and cousins, just because I didn't go to college or marry. The only ones who were gonna get less is two relatives that she unfairly hates. Her favorite grandkid is getting two mint vintage cars, tons of jewelry and money. If anyone finds out I'm going to blame someone else but that's unlikely, and while my parents would be really angry or embarrassed, I think that whatever punishment is worth the reward.

I'm feeling kind of guilty but she never loved me much and would always make up excuses not to come to our birthdays and holidays. She was really mean and unfair to my dad and his brothers when they were growing up too. Have you ever stolen from family for something like this or stupider? My discord friends don't think this is that bad in retrospect. Two of my friends even told me that they'd be willing to kill old dying family members if they didn't have money and if it was Ragatha or Charlie Morningstar.

My grandma didn't leave me anything, but she left everything to her kids. So whatever uncle, aunt and my dad got they used it how they needed to use it. As far as I know none of the grandkids got anything, of course they're like 25 of us not counting the great grands.

I was happy when she would send me a birthday card. Trying to keep up with that many grandchildren was probably hard for her to do.

My biological farher retired at the age of 55 and had a massive payout. He earned 80k a year and currently lives with my grandmother where he pays for utilities and nothing else. I took out a lot of debt to get a house loan and have been stuck in this cycle of trying to pay it off and juggle house bills as a 25 year old while my father has spent over 100k on cars and bikes that he trades in for half price once bored if he is not drinking his money away on booze. At any time he could have helped with the deposit or even outright helped his firstborn son out with getting the house wholesale, but he didn't. Not because of a grudge or any other justification, just because he is an autist who doesn't care or believe in familial responsibility. He did the same thing with my brother who has a learning disability.

I knew where he kept the family silverware which was in a locked box at his house. One night when I was over I decided I would break it open as I thought they lost the key so they would never bother to check it out. It was filled with tons of stuff, easily over a grand in pure silver. But you know what I did OP? I put it back. As much as I was tempted, and I really do mean I was tempted, and as much of a bastard my father was I was not prepared to stoop to that low. You faced a situation less grave than that and stole for far less, and not only that, you stole from someone with one foot in the grave. You have fucked up your familys trust and relationship to you likely forever now and you won't get any further support. You have vilified yourself and drove a wedge with your parents. For $600 you have alienated yourself from those who are meant to be closest to you. I hope that plush doll was worth it to you because you will need it to comfort you when there is no one else left to do so as you get older.
