Getting kinda spooky edition!

For the awesome anons asking about where I've been hosting the Kyle Saga comic I've been storytiming in past.

This is the story of a man whose destiny lies in chains.

After braving Mount Spikeheart, Kyle met once against with Mach, now captive under the apostate sorcerer Dreer and his accomplices.
Mach is revealed to be a genetic replica of Null bringing a lot of questions into our hero. Kyle is aprehended but manages to set his old magicat ally, Catillus, free with the thanks of Dinglebells. Now Kyle remains prisoner, seeking a way out.

I like to think Arden's mask is quite symbolic of his personality. He tries to hide his insecurities a lot, so it's fitting it was Catilus' (the friend of his former mentos) who cracked it.

Foor the MOTU nerds Arden is a character introduced in the 80's show. He's Norwyn's arrogant apprentice who betrays him to learn under Shadow Weaver but realizes dark magic is whack and changes his mind.

In the reboot SW killed Norwyn, and in Kyle Saga it's Dreer who takes Arden as his apprentice afterwards. With his mentor gone, there was no one to make Arden realize he was making a mistake, and so he became the arrogant, callous, and ambitious guy we see today.

I always thought having a princess from the Kingdom of Snows depicted in the Brightmoon 1st Alliance mural made not sense due to the whole thing that they've been neutral for centuries being a big deal in S1. So I tried to make a story about.

It was a rebellious tomboy princess who joined, not the whole kingdom. So there.

A little extra context.

I based Arden on the somewhat androgynous redhaired sorcerer that accompanies Norwyn a lot, which I assume is meant to be a nod to the 80's Arden.

In the show he gets savagely blasted off by a light/dark beam attack from Shadow Weaver and his fate is never shown or mentioned. So this is my version of it.

He survived but was scarred for life.

really neat explanation to use She-Ra's og design.
I kinda expected Mach to be only partially absorbed by Null and pulling a "Just a prank bro" in front of the spider and using Null's knowledge to escape.

It's actually based on Dr.Tempus a horde scientist of the original series. I repurposed him as a clone and Zed's technician.

He's like Hordak but without the angsty emotions and desire to conquer, he just pours his whole being into his inventions instead. Maybe as a way to cope his disconnection from the network.

Here's Telzy as She-Ra

You can tell part of her armor got repurposed. Catilus also dyed her hair with some illusion magic. Her eyebrows retain her true color though.

He's been trying since Mach attached the virus to his body in the Bibbet Village. He resisted for a long time, but after Kyle got taken prisoner (due to what he thinks is his fault) it completely broke his spirit.
