Don't like them overdoing the LOLRAnDoM humor, my favorite episode is still them going to Brazil. Sure there is absurdism but there is a thought behind the whole plot (it's basically a Seinfeld episode in cartoon form), and the dialogues are very realistic.

That's a good short summary. I enjoyed the b-plot but the A-plot could use with some improvements.

Personally I would make him an actual serious person, with maybe normal hobbies trying to live an normal life but people keep harassing him for his appearance. The entire shouty angry guy makes him seems less like a normal person and more like an insane individual, hsi apparence doens't help.

Knowing how this show works I do think the anon who made the comparison with the high function autistic is correct, probably some twitter thing that they made an episode on, so the get overly angry is probably part of the original deal.

On a more personal note, I don't know why anyone would like to be taken seriously outside an ego thing, something I don't have a whole lot. I prefer much more to never bee taken seriously, since it basically means I can say whatever I want and don't have to worry about the consequences. Being taken seriously is not only be responsible for your mistakes, but also of anyone who listens to you, and I'm not interested in this sorta of pressure.

He's low-functioning. He got by for a while just going through the motions that were set up for him. Living a regimented life that made things very intuitive and low stress for him. Then he lost his job, or something like that, tried to recover, and just couldn't do it because he has no intuition for where to start, or if it's even possible to get himself into a new stable routine.

He's probably going to end up like Boogie2988 now that he has a bunch of people supporting him. He'll take up all kinds of self destructive behaviors and be a dick to a lot of people, and it'll all eventually come to a head and he'll end up dead or in prison, worse off than ever, with his reputation completely unsalvageable.

it seems almost unanimously agreed upon that everyone felt the A-plot was weak. It's definitely too late for the rest of the season to adapt to this reaction, but i feel like micheal and zach being more down to earth internety people gives the show a higher chance of course correcting.

I still think the funniest thing they could do with that would be to have the Smiling Friends go to Pittsburgh, and make it completely mundane and realistic. No jokes about overzealous sports fans, no jokes about furries. Nothing. Imply that Philadelphia and Rio are the only two places in the world of Smiling Friends that have Critters and all the wacky shit going on.
