Modern Classics Post-2010
What are some genuine classic Big Two books released after 2010? I'm not talking books that are simply good or passable, but books that are genuinely considered modern classics of the capeshit genre?

Art alone makes it way above majority of Marvel capeshit coming out nowadays.
>b-but
Nothing about this book indicates it takes place after OMD, so that could be easily ignored. Just a classic Spider-Man/Doctor Strange team-up that happened to come out during 2010s and has that McCarthy weirdness.

I think it's generally too early to tell. A lot of what defines what a classic was is time. We remembered stories XYZ decades later and call them classic. The problem with so many stories and even writers now is that they want to be that classic while they're still in print. That's not really how it works.

I prefer older comics. 00s still had a few good ones, but the number has gone down since the 80s. I like works to have passion and to test the limits of the medium.
Genndy's comic is a little better than most, art wise, but ultimately it's an uninteresting story with characters I don't care about.

That's such a /v/ mindset when faced with people liking things you don't like. I don't even care for most comics but when there's something I find enjoyable I'll praise it. And if there's a comic others like that I don't then I just move on because I'd rather talk about stuff I like than stuff I don't like. The real problem is that some anons can only like comics they feel are 10 out of 10. They can't like decent or flawed comics or even guilty pleasures. And those that do are shit and their opinion sucks and they need to be told that. Imagine a group of people in real life sitting around and talking about things they like and one guy walks in and shit talks all of their choices. I've seen people like that. Its success led to the writer doing too much adn running out of tricks very quickly, but the tricks were new and they were interesting and it was one of the few comics of the last 10-15 years that I a) really felt I had to know what came next and b) wasn't enraged when I found out.

It's more of a commentary on Vision (and Scarlet Witch) comics than it is a logical development of his character, to the point that Mark Waid wrote a story to explain why Vision was acting the way he does in this comic. But that doesn't bother me a lot, especially since the theme is that superhero characters keep regressing and repeating the same stories over and over.

Nothing of course. Not being flippant, I think this whole question is dumb. There's less than ten books that qualify for what you said TOTAL, across all comic history. I thought 20th Century Men and Peter Cannon Thunderbolt were seen as closer Watchmen equivalents.

Final analysis: there are either no comics from this period and from these publishers that are worthwhile picks for modern classics, or it's too early to tell.

Genuinely, my only experience with Inhumans in the comics was this and Ahmed's Black Bolt which was good too, why are they so hated?

They weren't hated before the push. They had about the same reception as any C-lister, Then Ike came around, took them out of their element and tried to replace the X-men with them. That drew a bunch of ire their way.
