I think it's generally too early to tell. A lot of what defines what a classic was is time. We remembered stories XYZ decades later and call them classic. The problem with so many stories and even writers now is that they want to be that classic while they're still in print. That's not really how it works.

I prefer older comics. 00s still had a few good ones, but the number has gone down since the 80s. I like works to have passion and to test the limits of the medium.
Genndy's comic is a little better than most, art wise, but ultimately it's an uninteresting story with characters I don't care about.

Its success led to the writer doing too much adn running out of tricks very quickly, but the tricks were new and they were interesting and it was one of the few comics of the last 10-15 years that I a) really felt I had to know what came next and b) wasn't enraged when I found out.

It's more of a commentary on Vision (and Scarlet Witch) comics than it is a logical development of his character, to the point that Mark Waid wrote a story to explain why Vision was acting the way he does in this comic. But that doesn't bother me a lot, especially since the theme is that superhero characters keep regressing and repeating the same stories over and over.

Nothing of course. Not being flippant, I think this whole question is dumb. There's less than ten books that qualify for what you said TOTAL, across all comic history. None of them were made in the past 20 years. You basically have to be Watchmen tier to qualify and there's simply not that many books in that tier.

Ok, read this yesterday. Well not all of it. Just up until #15 of 22 at which point I just had to stop because it sucked. It is very much reflective of the comic ideas/concepts of the last decade or so. Male loser hero, stronk womyn. Nostalgia bait derivative art style. I will never recover the hours I lost reading it, and I am a poorer person for having done so. I do not recommend.

I wish I could name tons, but I can't think of Big Two comics as good as Moore's Swamp Thing, Watchmen or even his Captain Britain run, as good as The Dark Knight Returns or Born Again, All-Star Superman, Simonson's Thor, etc.
I somewhat liked Priestroke, Mieville's Dial H, some of Morrison's Multiversity, and Ennis Fury and Punisher, but not enough to regarding them as heavy hitters like the ones above.
If there is anything comparable, please tell me.

I loved The Platoon, and came to appreciate Soviet more on a second reading. Get Fury, maybe I need to give that one another look. I just find it hard to get over how meandering the story is on that one.
