I started with this, then read 1983 New Mutants (the Annuals and the Special Edition), some of The Uncanny X-Men (the New Mutants and her show up in some of them don't remember which ones and also read Annual 9), New Mutants Truth or Dare(Optional), New X-men Vol 2(#37-41 if you only care for Magik), X-Infernus, New Mutants Vol #3, X-men Hellbound. After Hellbound, you can pick up and start reading most of the X-Men stuff since she's part of the team up to 2019 Krakoa iirc.
