Personally this DOESNT work on movies because of running times, specially on animated kids films, this might work better on a TV series or a 13 episode mini series, the romance should happen at the peak of S1, then you can break em up in S2, plus also:

>Its always the woman who falls for the misunderstanding
>She acts like a total petty bitch, may turn into a jerkass later but only for awhile
>they forcely just return without misunderstanding fixed up.

>somehow necessitates a one-world government and society.
If it's a technocracy, it makes sense. It's likely space faring or going to be space faring. A one world government is likely the most logical course of action...

Of course, as for the past amounts of multi gov's and culture's previously there... yeah it's a no brainer they likely got assimilated, fucked over via mass genocide, or left the planet to establish their own singular dominance on another planet.

Again, not what I was getting at. Look: even a nation as culturally (though not ethnically) homogenous as Japan still has some regionality. There are regional dialects, regional customs, regional foods, regional religions and so on. But Star Trek wants me to believe that the entirety of Qo'noS only have a single culture? Fuck outta here with that bullshit.
The only regionality I can recall off the top of my head are those blind Andorians from Enterprise and SNW and that's to a comically huge degree.

I feel like this mostly happens in fantasy and live scifi stuff. Like half the aliens in Trek having some kind of species superpower. More in that nickelodeon scifi show where every single alien had a superpower, except humans.

I can't really think of a cartoon example of this though. In comics, it's kinda sorta there? DC has a lot of superpowered aliens in it.

A confederacy makes way more sense than one world governments or one space faring civilization governments if we want something organized that can work by itself if needs be, but in reality everything would devolve into a bunch of Americas, Mexicos, and Australias in space if anything somehow holds them together it's either a theocracy or hate for anything not human.

One of the few things StarCraft got right is that humans would just separate on interests and barely hold themselves together by trade.

It's easy enough to do for less well known characters, but it doesn't really work for someone like Mrs Krabapple who had been a secondary character for over 20 years. Lunch Lady Doris was voiced by Doris Grau and they replaced her when Doris passed, but that character wasn't exactly well known. They do replace VAs that pass in other shows like Eustance in Courage, but you could very clearly tell it was a different guy. The fact that the show constantly reused voice clips and then suddenly couldn't do that anymore was also a bit of whiplash.

If the multiverse existed and you could travel between universes and there were infinite possibilities, in most of these stories travelling universes is like an accident or random chance, what stops literal trillions of alternate yous or whoever picked up the Rick and Morty gun from accidentally travelling to your universe. What stops it all from collapsing in on itself? What about time dilation and shit, is space filled with the corpses of multiversal travellers who live in universes where earth is in a different position from earth in another? Infinite possibilities means earths where the chemical makeup of the atmosphere is slightly different, is there a world where people are shaped like spherical anemone things that still identify as humans, call themselves homosapiens, etc. Etc?

Ironically i remember watching Loki and being surprised they actually answered it by showing Kang waging war and killing all the other versions of himself.

We have been building up ridiculously strong disease strains ever since we invented urbanization, and now industrial livestock farming and globalism has kicked that up to a whole new level. An alien race that knows about medical science the way we do would be fucking horrified of how unhealthy and filthy our cultures can get. The WotW martians had evolved out of needing medicine for so long they straight up forgot it was a thing. kinda like modern antivaccers[/spoilers]

I think that part of the plot of WotW is that the aliens were from Mars, the very closest β€œhabitable” planet to ours. They’d been watching us via telescope for an unspecified amount of time and we were the very first planet they tried to conquer. Makes sense they fucked up the first try. They saw that we waged war in the 19th/20th century we artillery so they invested in making theirs stronger than ours. They saw that we didn’t fear our plagues and undervalued our doctors, like how we tried to downplay spanish flu (yknow, because we were more focused on The War at the time) so they didn’t worry about that either.

that's the thing, they're not lol. Delegating requires trusting in others' abilities and recognizing when someone else can do something better than you can. In an all-female situation, inevitably one or more of them go on a power trip and try to simultaneously micro-manage every task while refusing to do any actual work, and anyone who's actually capable of getting things done gets fed up with it and quits

I am aware. I'm just wondering, going back to the original topic of an all female society where men no longer exist. These Survivor women knew they still lived in a world where men still existed and even if they failed, they'd still get to go back to living in comfort. If men were just gone forever, reproduction aside, they would HAVE to rationalize somehow the fact that men will no longer provide for them. Even the baddest bitch couldn't just lounge around. None of the other women would trust her, because they'd all know she's just trying to create a paradise for herself, and even her royal guards wouldn't be happy about that.

Women don't want to work. What they want is their own money and resources, and they don't think they should have to work to earn them.

Earth is close to the maximum size of a terrestrial planet where chemical rockets can still get you to space, so if there is a multi-species galactic civilization, we'd probably be considered heavy worlders. Humans are also rather large, something like in the largest 0.0001% of animals on Earth. More intelligent animals tend to be larger, but most tool-using animals are smaller than humans. And humans do have biological specialties, those being endurance running (the very best on Earth in dry heat) and throwing projectiles (again the best on Earth, and by a wide margin). Intelligent aliens would have a good chance of being predators too, and almost guaranteed to be social, but they probably wouldn't be good at running marathons or baseball.
