One of the few studios making shows that directly appealed to the serialized action and deep world-building that teens go nuts for, and to do it FROM THE START instead of doing it later on after fighting with executives.
For the longest time, networks have been trying to make everything either a loud baby show with no conflict or substance or story, or raunchy shock jock adult comedies, with zero in-between.
Lore shows like Adventure Time or Amphibia had to neuter themselves to be TV-Y7/PG, and networks often pushed for them to be episodic or light-hearted so as to not alienate parents or casual viewers who watch re-runs. Plus there might've been some hesitation of the writers' part, Adventure Time, Gravity Falls, Star Vs, etc. mostly did episodic stuff before delving into the deeper, status-quo changing stories later on.
Some adult shows that delved into deeper storytelling, like Bojack Horseman or Final Space, deliberately made the first few episodes into raunchy comedies so that they'd mislead execs who greenlit them wanting a Rick & Morty clone, before doing what they actually wanted to do later on.
Glitch is really one of the first studios to appeal to this wide audience and intentionally make it a core part of their brand, instead of mostly doing it by accident while also putting out loud nonsense shows nobody remembers like Long Live the Royals or Future Worm.
