nothing amazing about it, he just had this idea "it would be cool if someone said 'to me, my Galactus'" instead of 'to me, my board' and wrote an entire story to get to that moment. Only for it to fall flat because the rest of it isnt written in that kind of 60s speak so its out of place.

I rarely tend to think too highly of action scenes. Not that I think they're lacking but they're not really profoundly memorable unless all you want is something to go FUCK YEAH at. Sometimes they get a bet more creative but generally it's not what really stands out.

same, that’s why I’m posting cool pages from it
I don’t think it gets appreciated enough so I want to change that
If nothing else, maybe people might at least like the art :)
Most of these are coming from Roger Stern’s run on Master of the Mystic Arts (starts at issue #47) if anyone is curious
What do you call it when they draw out the same character multiple times as they traverse across a single panel?
I've loved it since I first saw it as a kid.

Kamandi is very good, but it has old fashioned writing. It’s a favorite of mine, but I’m always hesitant to recommend things I really like because it’s difficult to remain objective.
