Replying to a comment from the previous thread, I developed an additional backstory for Nepeta in my Homestuck forum RP. Basically olivebloods are strongly tied to the Alternian military. Nepeta was singled out from hatching as a future Avanguard - basically a troll Helldiver - and was being groomed for this role. However, she became increasingly repulsed at the thought of being a mindless shock troop, until at 5 sweeps of age she had to kill her mentor (who was going to report her to the authorities) and fled her former home aboard a hijacked transport. It was shot down but she and her lusus managed to survive the crash and made it to her future cave home. Her personality and interests are written as a deliberate rebellion against what is expected of her as an oliveblood.

In the RP itself, Nepeta (who is technically an alternate timeline incarnation) finds out about what happened to her Alpha Timeline self and becomes obsessed with becoming narratively relevant. This results in her becoming a Kingdom Hearts Guardian of Light (yeah the RP is a big crossover) because the giant Sburb session my game takes place in accidentally pulled in an alternate version of the Kingdom Hearts universe. This plotline culminates in Kingdom Hearts turning into the Magenta Moon, a Heart-themed counterpart to the Green Sun (or Black Sun as it is named post-Calliope turning it into a black hole).

Broly isn't really destructive, despite his power level he doesn't do much. He doesn't control it his father does, he gives in to mindless impulse or the control his father placed on him.

Broly, frankly, doesn't have much personality or agency on his own. Outside of how his fat6her directs him he just fights. No social skills, no hobbies, no personality.

What are the best 'original' Fanventues? Basically anything that doesn't involve the original Homestuck cast. Either a Sburb session or just a whole other thing with original characters. I've already read and caught up with Prisounebound.

He goes out of his way to be cruel to a slave race by pretending to throw a ball of destruction at them only for him to boomerang it into their planet behind him.
Broly is destructive and selective about it. There was no reason to drag a child's head through the side of a skyscraper rather than just juicing him in his hand except for pure sadastic enjoyment.
He's very much not a slave to his rage and is in exact control of it during the first movie before they kept dumbing down his character.

Broly isn't the most complex villain by any means. But saying stuff like this is a disservice to him.

What they should've done for the Beforans was make it so that the Ancestors were the reasons that Beforus was so peaceful and toothless. Not just drop them into a boring life.
