The real problem was how he behaved at work. He didn't coordinate with Harmon on the new hires to fill out the rotating writers' room and naturally didn't gel as well with the people Harmon clearly brought on board. Roiland could've simply distanced himself from the production professionally and just continued doing voices like MacFarlane's been doing for years now, but he would instead ghost the crew at random, fucked around with toys the few times he did show up at the office, recorded his lines while drunk (even when it wasn't for a "bit"), and couldn't even be bothered to attend con panels.

5/10 one of my least favorite episodes so far and i love most of the series. the father scene and the fly computer joke both took up like half the episode and werent good enough to justify their inclusion. in the end it was just a worse version of the animated short Zima Blue
