The ideal Adventure Time would have the type of adventures from seasons 1 and 2 with the tone and characterisations of Elements and the animation of season 10. I keep hearing people say they just want season 1 back but no you don't. That style of humor is outdated. I would rather it focus on epic quests and character development than try to be lolsorandom again. But the type of actual plots they had in the early seasons are still goated. And one thing that the first couple of seasons had in common with 9 and 10 is that nobody hated each other. All the characters felt like close friends, as Pen Ward intended. I don't think there's anything salvagable from seasons 3-8. I don't give a shit about lore, or Finn being depressed and trying to fuck every girl.

Nah elements sucked solely because they had to suddenly make LSP the hero just because she's voiced by Pen Ward, which NO one actually likes after the rape, and the animation got even worse in the later seasons

Finn and her were already on that hero arc for a while. It had been building up since at least season 5. I'm talking about the episode where Finn fights shadow clones of himself and later Finn teaches her that she's hot on the inside, and then she ends up realising that Finn is hot on the inside too. Their relationship is honestly a highlight of the show. Super underrated. Idk what you mean by "because she's voiced by Pen Ward". I don't think they took that into consideration in any way.

But Finn doesn't really love her. He found her exciting and hot but he was basically doing the same pathetic shit he used to do again. He just never took it too far with her. I believe that Finn will eventually tell her the truth. Now it is possible for Finn to fall further in love with her and they could actually be a good couple then. But Finn isn't built for casual shit. That's why his flower died after fucking Lsp. Me personally I think PB is Finn's soulmate but I don't have anything against Huntress Wizard. I am curious why you think responsibility or baggage is a problem for our boy though. He's extremely responsible and every single one of his close friends has issues besides Jake. Hot Take but I wish they made the first half of season 5 about dealing with the lich and his consequences before permanently killing him off with the grass sword and the help of all the side characters. Felt like the character overstayed his welcome after season 6 and they didn't know what to do with him.
