Japan has a similar fixation on incest where it arises due to how families either have one child, and/or should they have many they rarely see each other. Not to mention the sexual abuse that occurs between parent and child (this occurs in other countries like Mexico, France, etc).

It's not uncommon for a husband to figuratively treat his wife's father as his own, or straight up call him "Dad". This is either done as a formality, or it's motivated by the lack of a strong father-son connection between the husband and his own father.

Lack of faith in Jesus. If you treat things as a joke then the later generations will be more tolerant of it. That's why there's a lot of smoke and mirrors with racism in America. I've encountered racism in the context of competitive comedy more than literally any other context. It feels like there's no hate behind the words because who has the energy to actually LARP like it's the 30s? It's insane behavior. Also a lot of these creatives are in the club so they participate in the parties. Sacrifice their own family members in order to ensure they get to abuse the family of others. Then they make in-jokes to get the public smiling and laughing at the subject. Then porn is generated to make light of it.

Remember playing pretend as a kid? Playing House? That's all porn is which is one of the myriad reasons for why it's so bad. People prostituting themselves just so there can be a camera set up while they play pretend. It's an act of rebellion of never growing up. Collecting easy cash by creating multiple soul ties and never growing to see your fellow man and woman as more than opportunity for sexual gratification.
