This incarnation of the Ultimate Universe: The story the fans wanted BUT we didn’t really deliver. None of these titles felt like it existed alongside the other titles.

Ultimate Spider-man was the Peter Parker sans OMD/BND but it meandered. There’s Harry/Peter bromance was too long There’s no way Hickman is gonna tie it up so quickly. He’s not that guy.

Ultimate Black Panther: War with Khonshu. Had all the exciting promise of two Theocracies going at it. Meandering. Ruined the momentum.

Ultimate X-men: Manga X-men was its own thing. The art was the selling point.

Ultimate Wolverine: the Ultimate X-men book WITH the X-men.

Ultimates: All over the place. Some good ideas. Some awful. Is the team even together? These characters are so wooden.
