I can envision playing out Sburb entirely where the Black King is the only black carapacian to be hostile at all, though it would require making the Black Queen give up her ring somehow.

Meanwhile, Feferi invades Jade's dream, which appears to be in the form of a bubble now that her dream self is dead. Feferi tears away the veil to reveal a bunch of eldritch monsters, which Feferi thinks are good things, actually.

Rose tells John that he absolutely has to prototype Jade's kernelsprite with something, anything. But she also knows what will happen when he does, because she remembers what happened in the doomed timeline. Time travel!
