I think their comics are a bit better than Marvels at the moment.
And their film franchise seems to have more momentum.

Batgirl is solid, though I imagine nobody buys it. Current Nightwing run is decent (same guy who did Patterns). Batman & Robin had a creepy metaphysical arc that just ended and the new one seems interesting. Detective just started a new arc that also seems promising. The annual was alright too. Not gonna go into details about Absolute B. since it seems to trigger people but suffice to say it is entertaining, if nothing else.

As for upcoming stuff, Shadow could be great. Could be shit too. They really need another killer mini-series or three, those you mentioned carried them hard this year

Abso MM, WW, and Batman are all feel big and worth keeping up with month to month. I'm willing to give Abso Flash and GL til issue 12 before I decide to drop it

I'm interested in several of the Vertigo premises/creative teams that got announced at NYCC.

There's a nice mix of creators and character announced for the Next Level thing too that I'm willing to check out one or a few depending on who's doing what. Already into Rucka on Batwoman, and very intrigued by Demon, Shadow of the Bat, and maybe Firestorm.

I've given up on the Big Two and am only reading indies. Other than that, Ghost Machine, Skybound (Energonverse and Battle Beast), Spawnverse, Witchblade, and waiting for The Darkness reboot. It's a shame my favorite comic (Bloodshot Beyond) will probably be canceled by left-wing faggots, even though it's the only one that entertains me in Valiant's reanimated corpse.

Oh, and I'm optimistically waiting for the new Deadpool book with Ben Percy since at least he's not a pink-haired, uncreative faggot like the previous writer.
