Wendy and Butters in the games:
They actually get along, with her even complimenting him multiple times despite him being a supervillain. She even says he looks hot in his Ultimate
What made Matt and Trey write them like this and how can I get them to do this more?

That would be my guess and they will try to claim its a horse shoe situation where the guy who is a Christian is supposedly so evil that he is basically the same as the antichrist.
By having the guy be evil they can better guess what needs to be done

It would fit with the "fake christian" party scene in the first episode so we wouldn't even need a reason as to how the situation gets set up as fake Christian Cartman would find a way into the whitehouse where an even faker Christian would possess him
My new guess would be JD Vance because he is second in command and he did want Trump to kill the baby but as he is a Christian he shouldn't want that ever aside from a parent will die scenario plus he was okay with Trumps other sins so this would fit
