He gets powers, shows them to Roxanne in a way that repeatedly endangers her, then basically goes "yeah, being my girlfriend is going to be pretty awesome for you." He doesn't try to get to know her better, she's just a goal, and he thinks he's entitled to her being his girlfriend because he gets powers.

Almost everything animated is slop. DreamWorks is like the slop factory with one or two gold nuggets thrown in for fun.
