He's worn tons of new outfits but only when he's hanging out with everyone else, he actually seemed like he was having a lot of fun alchemizing new clothes for himself. I think it's a clever detail that he always switches back to his base clothes during fights and as often as possible.
Everyone throughout the game was finding out who they are and overcoming personal struggles, but Brolee always knew who he was and was true to that. Only changing minutely throughout the whole thing by growing to care more deeply for everyone around him.

One of the major problems is that there are a LARGE number of works that just get dropped by their creators before we can get a full scope of them. We can't really see what it would become as they never get any form of closure.
Then there are those that update so slowly that they may as well not exist (HoxxesBound eg)

Rereading Homestuck made me appreciate Equius a lot more than I used to. He brings a unique perspective to things that the other trolls who are mostly on a spectrum between Nice and Conniving don't. Without him the hemospectrum would be almost entirely irrelevant and the concept of moirails would be much more ill defined.
He's just overall a fun character and I wish a little more was done with him.

The long and short of it is that Gio was one of the lead guys on the unnofficial collection, since the actual website broke after being bought by vizmedia, and the forums were longsince dead. The unnofficial collection was, for years, the only way to read homestuck properly. It was beloved by all, including Hussie, who even had it on their Linkdn. A couple of weeks ago, Hussie suddenly legally bullied the shit out of the team, particularly Gio (who had been openly critical of Hussie in the past), and they were forced to take down the website. Suspiciouslly, immediately afterwards- like, day after, they announced the pilot and THEIR website, which is where you can now read homestuck officially. Hussie clearly drove the unofficial collection into near instant obscurity just to collect more traffic on the new site, and to bully someone who doesn't like them.

Act 2 killed a lot of my love for the game desu. Act 1 was really cute and charming, and I enjoyed friendsim a fair bit, but then Act 2 was just "You know all those guys you met and liked? Jokes on you, theyre all assholes and/or bad things are happening to them. Also it was so fucking busy. So much of the charm of Act 1 was feeling like Homestuck while simultaneously being small scale and more earnest.

I honestly kind of preferred that to the schmaltzy writing of the Friendsims. I mean, they're on Alternia and also no longer the main focuses of each of their routes. I'm glad most of the characters didn't bend over backwards to be Joey's friends. It could probably have been way crueler even, but Hiveswap is going for a lighter tone.

I will say though, as a point and click it's just vastly inferior to Act 1. Act 1 is a fine tuned, well-oiled machine in comparison, so much of Act 2 is just empty ass rooms, dry ass descriptions, and a total lack of meaningful combinations for anything besides what you need to progress. Marvus' murder game is the worst part despite conceptually being cool, a total slog of backtracking, and trial and error clicking on each character on the car until you find the one you're supposed to fake the death of. Zebede and Charun are also completely missing from their respective environments in the beginning. I assume the game was just cobbled together really quickly to get it out... I wonder if it's moddable?

Hussie was negotiating for the Unofficial Homestuck Collection to become official content. Gio was mostly amenable to this, as long as he was compensated properly for it (which Hussie didn't seem to mind). The negotiations were actually going relatively smoothly for the most part, despite how much the two absolutely hate each other.

Where the problem happened is that Hussie over-played his hand. He wanted Gio to also take down any and all negative posts and comments he had made about Hussie in the past as part of the agreement and sign an NDA so he couldn't ever legally say anything bad about Hussie's management of Homestuck in the future.

THIS is the part Gio did not like. Gio didn't want his past statements about Hussie's poor management and shitty behavior to be censored as part of the agreement, but Hussie continued to insist on this as part of the deal, causing the negotiations to break down.
Ultimately Gio made a stupidly long blog post about the whole ordeal, Hussie took down the UHC website (but not Gio's Github, which still allows the whole collection to be downloaded) since at this point he couldn't take control of it because he stupidly insisted on ALSO silencing Gio and the whole deal had fallen apart because of his ego/vanity.

TLDR: Hussie tried to basically 'buy' the UHC to make it an official thing, Gio was okay with that, Hussie then insisted that Gio also had to take down any and all negative statements about Hussie and sign an NDA forbidding him from badmouthing Hussie in the future because Hussie is an egocentric bitch-baby. This caused the deal to fall through.

Reading the thread, I have no idea how Karkat and Dave are going to end up together when it seems pretty clear that it's Karkat and Terezi. Am I missing something?
