People criticized Late AT for being lore heavy. But F&C feels that way, too plot heavy, too tropey, and lacking the soul of Early AT. The 20-minute runtime means they can “decompress” the stories, so we spend a lot of time with pointless scenes and tropey writing. AT, with its strict 11-minute runtime, had to pack as much information as possible into that time, so the beginning, middle, and resolution had to be concise; not a single minute was wasted. I recall Muto or whoever mentioning that a lot of the series would take place in Fionna's world, without much universe hopping. I really hope this isn't where Huntress Wizard has to learn how to live in the "real world" like having to work a wagie job or whatever bullshit.

Yeah, I'm worried about this too. We saw how in S1, they had no qualms about killing off certain characters in horrible manners (albeit alt-universe versions). More importantly, we saw how Finn's wife in Farmworld was dead, which was very likely that worlds version of Huntress, and that certain canon events carry over between worlds.

All original fionna and cake's episodes was about romance back then, they definitely left range of the major show's audience everytime to make these, pitching these kind of episode was difficulty because they had to justify why finn and jake wouldn't showed up. The crew has 10 seasons to explore these dungeon and dragons tropes, and now they have the liberty to explore this romanceslop again. Get over it, I personally would want they did more dungeon and stuff, but I don't think it would make sense to make one more season of adventure time status quo but genderbend
