There was a reason, they just didn't tell anyone what it was.

>Artist nukes the account that has all of their art, leaving the account with only the newer stuff that isn't as good as the older stuff.
Somehow, this stings even more than them just nuking everything. Remember to save, save, save, guys.

We talking about Graves?
He was just retarded. Despite being nowhere near popular or known, he feared doxxing and the orange man.

at what point should you fear doxxing?

It's just not worth being a public person on the Internet anymore, I'm sorry. The risk is great, the rewards are few.

This is why you save literally everything even slightly interesting on your harddrive and also make backups of it.

At the point it's at least realistic. Like I know some retard that made a website but forgot to protect against the whois checks so her full name was on it. Between that and knowing the city and they went to art college and stuff, I'd say it's reasonable enough to think you can get proper doxxed

Graves posted on pixiv that he's deleting his entire online persona. Even from aggregators such as ATF he's successfully requested a removal.

It is always the correct decision to not have an online persona
Anonymous No.150864157 [Report]
I ran a site for an online artist, he burned out and asked me to delete all his stuff... so I did.

Then a few years ago a guy started posting online and became successful (you know his name) and the style isn't quite the same, but there's a few clues in the name, the sense of humour...

It MIGHT be him. And if it is, I wish him luck.
