Honestly, at it's best it has some good comedic writing. Episodes like Cheeseman and Tooth Fairy genuinely had me laughing. Considering one episode is just a giant confession that the whole thing is written while high? I'm guessing they were relatively sober for those two

I procrastinate a lot on my work and i used to be a terrible gooner. Basically if it wasn't illegal i managed to get off to it with few exceptions.

I don't read comics, I haven't drawn in 13 years because I'm both arrogant and hate myself (a very tense situation), I've watched probably 3 cartoons start to finish in the past 2 years, and I spend most of my days gooning to cartoon porn featuring characters from shows I have never watched (and probably never will).

I hate slice of life comics because I don’t care about the creators’ shitty lives. Why are so many indie comics this shit? Whenever I go to conventions and try to find stuff from local people it’s always just “here’s a comic about me being gay” or “here’s a comic about me doing drugs.”

I critiqued Arcane despite not watching an episode of it and my exposure mostly being clips on youtube.

I love Captain America, especially MCU Captain America. The only thing I don’t like about Infinity War is that he isn't in it more. Whenever I'm watching the movies I like to pretend he is my dad. I do the same thing with Batman when I replay the Arkham games.
I wrote an 11k word essay on Big Hero 6 is my favorite film. I've rewatched it so many times I can quote the entire film by heart unprompted.
I think it sucks that the MCU became the internet punching bad to the point where even liking the good films makes you the scourge of cinema/culture. Granted, post 2019 MCU is mostly terrible, but it still sucks.

When I finally have time to make a webcomic I'm gonna base a character off my ex. I know that is not a healthy thing to do, but I might as well. Already half-way did an erotic scene with it and felt weird.
The other sin, related to this one, is that I'm probably just gonna draw furries rather than humans because it's just easier. I do have an idea of how to transition in to "reality" with real people, but I'm probably going to delay it so long that's it is going to turn into a different thing entirely

I think art is far more important than the writing when it comes to comics.

Bendis and Millar are two of the legit GOATs due to how they write dialogue in a more casual, realistic way than most authors.

Guys like Hickman, Morrison and Moore have the coolest concepts diluted by their weirdly dry way of writing/presenting things.

My boss at the comic shop I worked for described it like this:

The laughter sound effects are present in panels 5 and 6. The siren sound is present in 4, 5, 6, and 7. One panel longer than the laughter. This means that Batman and Joker stop laughing while the siren is still audible. I think this means that Batman is choking/killing the Joker.

Plus, I'm just now realizing that the final two panels are of a beam of light (in the water reflection) being turned off, which ties into Joker's joke. If both men are crazy, just like the joke implies, then the beam of light turning off might imply that Batman betrayed Joker's trust and killed him. At least, that's how I interpret it.

The spinoff was a case of "take the funniest side character and center a plot around them". One of the things that made Mr.Pickles good was that it often played homage to old slasher and exploitation horror films. Old Town is a town where basically everyone is a fucking asshole who exists as fodder for Pickles to kill. Sheriff was comedically incompetent and naive to show that the town basically needs Pickles to protect it from itself. You can't really center a plot around that.

I like the characters and their parents show different kinds of relationships like how Andy have a father that is old fashioned, that mix raced girl had parents who were teachers and open minded but drew a line when they thought she was going too far, Jay's parents neglect him and his brothers and he is a rich and abandoned child, Nick's parents were very supportive to him and embarrass him a lot and that other girl, who had period in the first episode, had parents that were divorcing and it's affecting her.
Idk why people hate it so much, maybe it's the sex aspect of the show, anyway, I like it.
