I guess you answered your own question, no one is that nice for no reason, well maybe, but people fear strangeness and one option is to isolate other is vitriol, it's easier to think he's a sex freak than just simply nice... he reminds me of people who never could have children and have too much time and money, sometimes it's just that plain and simple loneliness
