I think the problem turned quite obvious fast, characters turn into quite overly exaggerated designs during the mixing, I remember I cringed quite hard when Nergal Jr showed up with some massive weaponry in an attempt to make a "le cool" page.

I guess that the real issue is that the comic tried to always depict as "everyone knows what's happening, except the kids" "or rather only one character, Jr, doesn't know what's going on all the time"

I see, interesting I didn't even know about it, but then again I was already on the way out of that comic as soon as the first arch ended with Jr helping Mandy return back to life, and only by someone sharing here years ago did I found out that they had 2 new siblings, that the stories were mixing and adding more characters and that MiniMandy was turning into extra-edgy Mandy 2.0 I think the last pic I saw was her looking in the mirror and reflecting like her mom or some shit like that.

I don't know what it is but giving characters wings feels like such a mid 2k's Deviantart thing to do. Which is why i like that they did it in both Kingdom Hearts 3 and Shadow Generations.

Sometimes that works, some other times it just feels too much, like in that "sometimes less is more", I feel like Bleedman could do great by just removing some of those, it doesn't even need to be all the way down to nothing, just reduce the amount, I remember it reached a point where every page had at least one overly-saturated look.

Bleedman was perfect for that time, where there were a surplus of cartoons but not a terrible amount of "lore" in them

But in retrospect he was a preview of Adventure Time and other cartoons of its ilk in that he got too up his own fucking ass about lore and not enough about the Powerpuff Girls But Anime

Just like Grim Tales, it's a story taking place in the underworld/hell using a mishmash of IPs and a distinctive art style.

Now is that style or story good or bad? Well, we are talking about this in relation to the "Mandy did 9/11" comic, so I don't think that matters.

Bleedman and the original writer (or was it editor?), who somewhat kept the story interesting, fought for some reason that everyone says is Bleedman's fault, Bleedman "fired" and got a Yes-man to write/edit for him and the story went to shit, and then to absolute shit.

Bleedman doesn't know anything about pacing. He spends literal years on a single conversation. He has spent years on this comic(and others) and so little has happened.
