It's because corporations are only interested in greenlighting stuff that feels safe to them and they sand everything off that's actually interesting. This is a problem in literally every form of media today with the only notable exception being video games because it's possible to independently produce and distribute them without a corporate jackboot jammed 3 feet up your ass, and even then "AAA" games are suffering from the same problem.

I could recommend you anons stuff, but most people I know irl that complain about there being nothing good these days have pretty narrow views of what makes something good. Ask yourself if you’re actually still interested in /co/ stuff, or if the debate game became more fun to you. Nothing wrong with the latter if you enjoy it, but if it’s the former, maybe your problem is more one of avenues to explore. I can’t give you a time machine, but if you’re not a troll tell me what kind of stuff you like. Maybe something will click?

The only cartoons i have left is hazbin hotel, smiling friends, and digital circus. And Digital circus is ending soon and smiling friends will probably end in a few seasons too so that just leaves hazbin and all of helluva that i need to get caught up on despite hating the soap opera relationshit in it.
