I always enjoy my fictional relationships with a little more friction. I feel like Fizz x Asmodeus is too "perfect" to the point of being boring. Is it a type of relationship I would like in real life, oh sure, but I want to be entertained and invested in a relationship and all of it's drama and character development. But their whole thing is just being seemingly perfect for each other which is just too out of place for a show like this.
I revel in the back and forth drama between Stolas and Blitzo, which makes their current status and relationship feel more... earned and interesting. Though for the next season I'm hoping they tone down the drama and actually start exploring what it means to be in a serious relationship after the juvenile drama is mostly over with, though even then I hope it's not the focus of the season.
I've never dated anyone like Blitzo, but I don't self-insert or get attached to these characters because I want to date them in the real world. I get attached to them because of what they bring to the fictional world they exist within, and Blitzo gives me plenty of entertainment, even though I find him plenty cringe from time to time as well. But that's just the nature of the show and it's writing lmao.
