I notice this recurring trope in some cartoons and wanted to know if you know any more examples of that (old/evil hag transforms into a sexy version of it and reacts horrified/disgusted to it). Maybe the most well-known one is this one from the Looney Tunes short "Broomstick Bunny" (poor Witch Hazel there).

That's a good one though she actually wanted to became pretty. I was looking for examples where the ugly witch feels disgusted of being turned hot. Another example I found of this trope (from Yippe, Yappe and Yahooey):

Tri bogatiria i shomohamskai tcaritsa (Tpи Бoгaтыpя и Шaмaхaнcкaя Цapицa) - a russian animated movie about an old witch trying to seize the throne of a kingdom. At the end of the cartoon (around 1:08:00), she eats the fruit of a magical tree and transforms into a young and beautiful woman.

Not for the classic cartoon old witches. That's why it's a funny twist for them to be terrified of becoming the opposite they're supposed to be.

The aunts in the live-action Sabrina the Teenage Witch were punished for witch crimes by being transformed into good-looking women. I don't believe the animated version used this idea as the aunts have flashbacks where they look the same and they like attracting men.

I thought everyone just started designing them as hot middle age lesbians around the mid 90s or so. Without any kind of an explanation behind it, the artists just wanted to depict the aunts as hot middle aged lesbians and that was that.
