What would a galaxy even fucking do? A galaxy is literally just more planets and stars in it. This shit isn’t TTGL where Asura is a galaxy-sized being. Asura would literally be just an invisible speck next to it just like against the mega moon and Chak’s forehead, except most of the galaxy would pass through Asura. Let’s say we entertain the notion that a galaxy is a projectile that would hurt Asura. Try programming a model as small as Asura going against something that big without it being a visual clutter or overloading the game engines. It’s the same exact case with them being unable to put in the original version of the Karma Fortress in game and had to scrap it. It’s also why Asura when he goes to punch Vlitra’s head in the tutorial, it appears only around the size of a mountain to a large skyscraper instead of a continent like the cutscene when it popped out of Gaea. AW is known for the big character sizes and models but it’s not perfect and liberties will be taken when having two drastically different models interacting.

If you want to say Chak’s hand laser was planetary range, that would have to do with immersion and the game engine. Imagine having the beam the size of galaxies seemingly hitting nothing, when the intention of the scene is that it’s hitting Gaea. It’s the same case with during gameplay where they have to tone it down otherwise not only would it be a visual clutter, but the engines would not handle it. That’s why the stars thrown at Asura aren’t a bajillion times larger than him. It’s also why they scrapped a scene where Chak spammed lights and stars and Asura from a shitload of directions because the game would not handle that.
