I know! I mentioned this on /ck/ of all places a few years ago when my son was into Legos. I would play with him a while and people just thought I was being a good dad… but I just wanted to play with Legos outside on a nice, sunny day.

Bro, I'm one of those extreme couponer people to the point that the manager at once store, who had to run the till that morning because his cashier was running late, specifically commented that what I do shouldn't be allowed but there's nothing he can do about it. I took ten boxes of Rice•A•Roni, two pounds of sprouted, organic, superfirm tofu, a loaf of bread, two spaghetti squashes, nearly 15lbs of imitation crab meat (we like it, fuck you) and 8 pots of Fage yoghurt, some shitty energy drink and a dozen eggs. I paid $19.12 and got a rebate on the eggs for $2.50 back. The rice, drink, eggs and yogurt were free (rice was $1/box, I had ten 50¢ off paper coupons and they double paper coupons = free, the yoghurt was four for $4 and I had eight $1 off coupons = free, I had grocery rewards for free eggs and the drink was a Sample Saturday coupon). Other coupons and deals were used to get the other stuff.
Anyway, without that skill, I'm not sure we could afford kids.
