Why the fuck does the modern part of the intro (0:28-0:40) have to be cut off for some boring god royalty free sounding horror stinger

Wasn’t this discovery kids?

There’s a girl and a cat, at least one of them is named cleo, they hang out with King Tut and get into egyptian shenanigans. I think they made the god of the dead a bad guy as most 2000’s IPs of ancient religions do (all I can think of is this and Hercules. King Tut is a little shit but he learns a lesson at the end of the day and so do we about Egyptian culture I guess. There’s a security guy with a hoagie.

Guys, be honest with me, is the push to study ancient Egyptian culture a psyop or something?

It really does make one think what rational they could have had for green lighting these shows. They should have had the numbers to show exactly the sort of thing the kids wanted to watch, why not make more of that instead of uninteresting crap?

>>Tutenstein was never on Jetix
>In August 2003, Fox Kids Europe acquired the show's television, home video and consumer products rights for Europe, Israel, India and French-speaking Africa, with Buena Vista International Television servicing television distribution. Following the rebrand of the company as Jetix Europe in 2004, the series premiered on the European Jetix networks around that time

Doesn't it take place mostly in a museum? Not much they can do with that setting for a series.

I was obsessed with Anubis specifically in Egyptian mythology when this show was airing, and the day i finally saw an episode with Anubis, my dad made me turn the tv off and clean my room.

Europe doesn't exist, that's way too funny of a joke. Everyone knows that Europe is just something we tell kids to make them feel like they have a "history".

Yin Yang Yo was very much a Butch Hartman-inspired art style. The first time I saw a promo image for it I actually thought he was involved.

The cartoon has really cheap animation but bizarrely good music and writing in spite of how it looks and it actually manages to make you look past that. It feels like they were genuinely trying on a shoestring budget, shame it just ends on a cliffhanger.

Yeah, I do not know what their obsession with Totally Spies was, like they aired 4 episodes in a row every day. And during weekends they often had non-stop Totally Spies marathons.
And for whatever reason, they didn't have a license for season 1, so they aired only post-season 1. Which always bothered me because season 1 was objectively the best.

It's diagetic. It lingers long enough to show you it's the modern day and then something scary happens.
>But then why the scary part get silly
because something silly happens.

That's what I remember the most clearly, although I'd also add Kenny the Shark. I feel like Growing up Creepie, Tutenstein, and Kenny the Shark were their big trio that they were really pushing at the time.
