Just watched the new episodes.
The episodes were great, it sets up a lot of great conflicts and i am genuinely interested in seeing where this goes (never thought id said that about viv media) but my question is, did anyone notice that the animation looks terrible?
Like, the pilot and even the first season were slop but something about the new season animation makes it look, i hate using this word but for lack of a better term, soulless.
It looks flat, sterile, the movement looks stiff, serah song literally did the one punch man thing were the png was sliding through the camera with no real animation, idk if its just me but everything look wrong.
Lute song and animation was incredible though, every complain that i have about the animation is completely nonexistent on her song.

I loved the speaker, she genuinely looks like an angel should, she has that weird le biblically accurate angel meme look that i hate but it works perfectly with her, she looks otherworldly without looking forced and she is so kind, caring and patient like an angel would when she was talking to pentious felt like she was talking to me and it made me feel good.

No, I can see the logic. There's no official structure or system in place for Sinners besides being unable to leave Pride. I thought it would be a fun premise if Vox was a kid in the 1920s/1930s and grew up listening to Alastor, the famous radio host, and felt directly inspired by him to pursue a career in television. Like a kid growing up and listening to Orson Welles' radio plays and feeling inspired to create his own storytelling and eventually becoming a host himself. (Not to make it too lame but maybe also becoming disenfranchised when the news comes out that Alastor was The Axe Murderer of New Orleans, and his optimistic view of the world is shattered.) At some point after Vox dies and goes to Hell, he finally gets to meet his idol and Alastor is just a complete asshole, "never meet your heroes" and all that, cue the rivalry
