Hot take: I have NEVER seen an appealing female Venom design. Every single time they have tried to give a woman the Venom symbiote and try to make it look feminine it has sucked. Venom therefore sucks for female corruption.
I think it's that fucking mouth. The sharp teeth and the prehensile tongue are emblematic of what we consider Venom's design to be, but it's also inherently masculine/dominating because it has a predatory look to it and predators are masculine-coded.
The best stabs at giving a female a symbiote have always been the ones where they leave the mouth out, like Mania. But even then, it's not a GREAT design, it doesn't exude malice like all the male symbiote-bearers do.
