If you're into martial arts stories, you'll probably like the book and in general it's not a badly written book, it just leans into things that aren't necessarily supported by large parts of Cass' fanbase. As someone who was a regular in the Katana threads, it kinda feels a bit like the discussion there with the discrepancy between a gritty, kinda grindhouse vigilante with supernatural elements established by her backstory and the magical sword heroine with a no kill rule fantasy character DC has been pushing.
