I used to dislike the almonds in almond joys, so I got mounds despite preferring milk chocolate to dark
then I started liking the almonds
then any chocolate-adjacent candy got suuuper unaffordable
then the quality went through the floor so at this point it's just brown wax with some flakes inside, so I don't bother.

No he's not. That episode has a great example of what's wrong with modern Quagmire in the scene where he's putting on his halloween decorations. Lois comments on how real the sex dolls look and he just scoffs and says "that's the idea" on an annoyed tone. Even when making sex jokes they can't write him as anything but a grumpy old man now, he used to be happy.
