Supposedly he lost the password to his Newgrounds account, right around the time that one dude from SA called him out for using flash decompilers to trace drawings from his, and a lot of other animators, Newgrounds cartoons. From that point on he stays silent, only occasionally posting footage from some commercial work he did for Pencilmations and CN Brazil.
Then around the late 10's, someone calling themselves "Xandrecos" starts posting video game parodies on NG and later YT, and people start saying "this looks like golfinho's style". Xandrecos' response to the comparisons, was telling people golfinho is a "mentor" of his, and that he's an 18 year old animator from Brazil. Around the same time there was also another animator called "puppet horn", who's a few years older than Xan, with the exact same style. I don't know if he used the pupil excuse as well, but they're both obviously golfinho. My guess is the former alias is used as a vehicle to profit off of YT/Tiktok kids, hence the belabored use of popular video game/cartoon IPs in his cartoons, whilst puppet horn is a backup he made in case he gets caught tracing again; which will probably happen again soon, now that animation twitter has their eye on him. He's a pretty big candidate for the autism mob.
