Meh, honestly, from my point of view, a special should mark a turning point in the story. This special shouldn't even be called a special; it's just a pilot for a spin-off that will probably have no connection to the main story beyond this episode.
I'm also not convinced by the art style they used. It's that fake anime style, but it's the cheapest one.
