Adora DOES get everything she wants and has everything go her way, but that's the point of the themes of the show

There's a lot of mystery and mysticism about what She-Ra is throughout the show - the warrior carrying the sword, a guardian, a healer, defender of etheria, the firing piece of a first-ones weapon, and its never explicitly stated. it is however strongly inferred by what she actually does. What she does, mostly, is lose. She-Ra can be tricked, trapped, out of focus, she can lose her will, become sick or hacked or distracted, pinned, manipulated, disarmed, even tazed. she's vulnerable to pretty much everything, with one exception. She is the honor of greyskull and primordial embodiment of the planet's raw magic. When there's nothing left but to lock heads and push, She-Ra is an unbreakable set of horns. But - she has to be focused by adora who is the other half of the dynamic.

She-ra is the power, but Adora is the will to use it. She is brought to etheria by light hope because she CAN be She-Ra, but it's She-Ra who makes that call based on innate traits that make her worthy of that power. Those traits are selflessness, an iron will and an unshakeable moral compass. Her entire personality is "something is wrong, i will fix it or die trying", and it's so central and happens so often that self-sacrifice attempts are what causes all her problems with Catra, who resents her for "leaving her behind" to do something more important. pretty much every season ends (and sometimes even begins) with a suicide mission.

So what's the theme of it all? When Adora is clear of mind and does what she believes is right, she always has enough power to overcome the adversity. When she doesnt, which is often, the supporting cast who are also good recognize her goodness and make up the difference. Adora and She-Ra are aspirational characters. "Take action, Do what's right, crush your foes, and come back bridal-carrying a mentally unstable catgirl". dont you want that too?

There's quite a few female characters which faced consequences for negative actions they did. Just because you cherry picked characters you feel are "le get what they want" (which is a valid complaint), it's really not a man vs woman thing.

The idiotic assumption that women's station as support in society was a result of male oppression rather than the actual limits of women's abilities.
When the legal restrictions were lifted and things weren't equal, the gender Marxists assumed it was because girls weren't being encouraged enough.

What it actually is, is that women due to historical domesticity, were the ones going to the store more often than men. And because of that have had more frequent chances to not just shop but be marketed to.
Add in the Pink Tax and its little wonder that companies seeking profit will try their hardest to get women into their market niche.

You see, you could fill in the blank with that "teeth brushing"-part with lots of hygienic practices; and boys are just as guilty. Your mom and dad don't have a real stake in your personal hygiene because they aren't going to be sleeping with you. They're going to allow you form bad habits. Your parents, my parents, are supposed to teach you hygiene (washing your ass, brushing your teeth, not looking and smelling like shit) so you can exist in public, make friends, get a job and maybe also get a romantic partner. Its also crucial for your health, some forms of bodily neglect can lead to very poor health outcomes. Hygiene isn't just about fucking, its whole body maintenance so you can exist in the world normally. I'm sorry you met a traumatically stinky girl or whatever.

Yes, I have observed "stinky girls." I know just how filthy girls can be if left to their own without any accountability. Their parents are too soft and enabled it to happen. I believe that it is an inherent fault of modern parenting, they allow such things to happen. You're missing the bigger picture though. Being stinky doesn't ruin your life, but it is a symptom of it. You're given too much choice and you're given too much praise even when you're actively making mistakes.
