I liked the first crossover as well, but I can't help but agree it did way more harm than good in the long run. Hell, even back then I can't imagine just being an exclusive fan of the MM comic, only for this crossover to tell you to kick rocks for a year while they spoil the shit out of future developments. Unless you were a fan of the games that didn't bother reading the rest of the comic beforehand, none of that shit made any sense.

Most of it can be glossed over by rewriting word balloons. A couple panels or pages might have to be redrawn or excised, which they've already said they'll do and even include a couple new stories to help everything flow together.
