I ended up liking Sonar way more that I thought I would and this is someone completely biased against his performance.

The Dispatch cast is an eclectic mix of celebrities, voice actors, and online personalities. Aaron Paul, aka Breaking Bad's Jesse and FFXV Nyx, voices the main character. Laura Bailey is Invisabitch/gal. Charlie is Sonar, Jack is Punch-up, Yung Gravy is Golem, and some other soundcloud rapper is Prism. Critical Role's lineup voices a good chunk of the side characters and Joel Haver is Waterboy. Of course, Laura and Aaron fucking kill it. Aaron Paul could totally VA for Batman. Charlie's one of the better online personality voice actors. Golem is basically a non-character with useful abilities. It's just Yung Gravy's voice down-shifted and saying some hip hop lines like "another one" and "stay winning" Charlie's basically playing himself so his performance is better than I expected it to be and leagues above Alanah. He's not monotone like his talk videos. Joel Haver's performance was actually weaker than it is in his videos. I'll chalk it up to voice direction. Harvey/Thot Squad is Prism and I think her and Charlie's performances are simply because they're speaking as themselves and not trying to ham it up, making their lines seem more natural.

Really think AdHoc would put in the effort for season 2? Depending on how this season ends I wonder how much of a mess that will be incorporating the decisions made to a following season. It was a mess for Telltale with their games. Leading to cut content, unfinished storylines, etc. To introduce a male love interest seems like it would be a hassle. The decisions have less impact here, but this game actually has gameplay compared to the shitty quick time events previous games of this kind have.
Dispatching is actually fun and seeing the interactions between characters is entertaining, I wish they were longer honestly.

Im sure characters here are at least as strong as characters from Invincible, but it seems like the creators have been wanting to add disadvantages to having such powers, so I think that lowers the bar a little.
We've only seen heroes for hire here, so there may be regular Heroes that are stronger, Phenomaman seems to have supersonic speed but his strength and resistance is unclear and the sun claim have to credibility so far.

You do make choices that affect later scenes, like firing someone and they're like fully gone from the game, or scenes play out differently from route A or B because you focused on character A or B, so its not like nothing at all matters and the people are grateful/hateful of what you've done. The main plot generally isn't shook to its core but there are some actual choice consequences here.

It feels better than back at old telltale where it legitimately didn't fucking matter at all, it isn't a massive blow if you go blonde or black, or bitch or bat, but it feels like its way more than way way back.
