I'm mostly just shitting on Pomni because I think she doesn't deserve the popularity she has, especially here, BUT
Pomni has a character, but her motivations and tendencies are extremely inconsistent. She swings wildly from one mood to another and behaves totally differently from episode to episode in a way that isn't justified by her character just changing over the series. In episode 2 she's extremely empathetic and cares even about a stranger she just met, who is also not even a real human being. This persists into episode 4 - it's not just a one off thing. In episode 6? She's proclaiming herself as The Evil One, getting buddy buddy with Jax (who abuses the NPCs she claims to care about more than anyone else), and taking joy in hurting real human beings. This is just one example but it goes for her whole character. Her personality is fairly consistent, but her behaviour is "whatever the plot needs her to be"
In a series that's generally pretty excellent about keeping characters consistent, Pomni stands out. A lot.
