Shame that the movie sucked because yes the South Park jokes were funny and especially truthful, and also the only reason to watch the movie itself. I wish this was just the 22-minute episode for what would have been a revival for the show instead of being used as a template for this movie because this was just wasted potential

I remember it dropping off really bad in the third season where it was just reality TV jokes and all the characters became generic assholes. The movie was just mean spirited and worse it just wasn't funny at all.

No they weren't because their assertion was that the reason why SP was still on the air because they made jokes with a point which is a retarded assertion to make when you're trying to make a point yourself. Also negating the fact that SP was built on the grounds of being a stupid fart cartoon to begin with so their "take that" just come across as endless seething that they got canceled for Lil Bush.

This is what also kills me, so much of SP humor is not about having a moral (infact that literally what's being made fun of) but to have a topic presented and then see Trey and Matt have the contrarian opinion driving home the absurdity of everything. Its like these guys never watched an episode of South Park.

No honestly the whole movie is just whining about being canceled in favor of South Park and their point of "South Park brein preachy" is not true.

SP is still around beacuse is cheap and beacuse their production pipeline is different from the usual animation process as opposed to Drawn Together who was animated in Korea, who was expensive as shit.

For a show that preached itself as "we make fun of everything and we don't care what people think" this movie came as very spiteful to South Park
